This antioxidant blend has been expertly formulated to achieve the highest quality in taste and therapeutics. The dried ginger root in this blend is ‘white’ with the skin peeled off and comes in its whole shape directly from the eastern states of India. Indian Ayurvedic medicine refers to ginger as a universal medicine.

We crush ginger and cinnamon patiently by hand. Star anise pods give a sweet, liquorice flavour to the blend. To keep cardamom pods fresh, we add them in at the last stage.

Add a touch of honey to this tea to enhance the natural fruit flavour and mimic the inherent, sweet taste.

How much? Begin with a teaspoon (or a three-finger pinch) and adjust to your preference. Remember, you can always add more tea for a stronger brew.
How hot? 90-95 Degrees Celsius. That's a boiled water that just stopped bubbling.
How long? 5-8 minutes. Over brewing can lead to bitterness.
Second Brew? This tea can be brewed a second (or even third) time, simply add more hot water.
More Flavour? Enhance your tea's flavour with a squeeze of lemon, or a drizzle of honey. Explore different combinations to find your perfect cup.

Tea tastes so soft and lovely and usually I add honey to herbal teas but this tea doesn't need anything added!
